Raspberry Pear Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bag Spring Greens
  • 1 Pear
  • 1/2 Cup Raspberries
  • 1/2 Cup Candied Pecans
  • 1/2 Cup Blush Salad Dressing

Blush Salad Dressing

  • 1/2 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Ground Mustard
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Cup Canola Oil

Candied Pecans

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Pecans

Instructions
 

  • Place 1/2 C. of Spring Greens on each plate.
  • Cut up pear and place on greens.
  • Sprinkle raspberries on pears and greens.
  • Crush the clumps of feta and spread on salad.
  • Drizzle 1 - 2 Tbsp. of Salad Dressing on each salad.

Blush Salad Dressing Instructions

  • Add red vinegar and sugar in a blender.
  • Add mustard and salt.
  • Mix until sugar is dissolved, 1-2 minutes.
  • Add oil, through the hole in the lid, while blender is going, creating a stream of oil into the vinegar mixture. The slow addition of the oil helps keep the salad dressing from separating.

Candied Pecans Instructions

  • Place sugar in a fry pan.
  • Heat sugar until it starts to melt.
  • Add whole pecans and stir until everything is coated with melted sugar. 
  • Place on a plate until everything cools and then cut or break apart.
