Chewy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Soda
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cream shorting, butter and sugar for 4 minutes.
  • Add egg and mix in well.
  • Then add pumpkin puree and vanilla.
  • Put all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture.
  • When the dry ingredients are almost mixed in, add the chocolate chips and mix with a spoon.
  • Grease cookie trays and place 12 cookies on each.
  • Bake for 11-13 minutes.
