Preheat oven to 375°.
Chop onions into small pieces then add them to the hamburger and brown on medium heat in a skillet.
When the onions are translucent , drain off the grease. THIS is really important.
Add the tomato sauce and seasonings.
Separate the crescent rolls on the perforated lines and lay them out on a cooking sheet in a sunburst pattern.
Use your fingers to really push each piece of dough together.
Spoon the meat mixture over the dough and sprinkle on grated cheese.
Fold up the pieces of dough over the meat and cheese mixture.
Seal as you go by pinching the dough pieces together.
Brush on a layer of milk and then sprinkle on sesame seeds.
Bake for 30 minutes.
If top is browning too fast, put a piece of tin foil over it and finish baking.
