French Toast For a Crowd

Equipment

  • 1 Griddle or Large Fry Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pieces Texas Toast
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Sugar*
  • 3 Tbsp. Milk
  • 4 Strawberries, cut into small pieces
  • Butter or Vegetable Spray

*Cinnamon Sugar

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Mix Cinnamon and Sugar and set aside.
  • Beat Eggs and add cinnamon sugar.
  • Beat until well incorporated.
  • Add milk and beat well.
  • Heat griddle or fry pan.
  • Add oil or butter. Be prepared to burn a few pieces of bread before you get the temperature right.
  • Dip bread into bread mixture.
  • Place on hot griddle.
  • Only turn the toast ONCE. This creates light and fluffy French toast.
  • Check the bread often to see if it is cooked through.
  • You want a deep brown crust, but not burned.
  • Flip and check often. Serve hot. People are willing to wait for hot French toast.
  • Pour syrup on toast and then add cut strawberries.

Cinnamon Sugar

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon well until the flakes of cinnamon are evenly distributed.
