Lots of fresh peaches baked in a batter of milk, sugar, flour and butter. Sprinkle on sugar and bake for an hour. I cannot even tell you how good this is with two scooper of vanilla ice cream.

Easy Peach Cobbler

  • 1/2 C. Butter
  • 7 C. Fresh Peaches
  • 2 C. Sugar
  • 2 C. Milk
  • 2 C. Flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt


  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Peel and slice 7-8 large peaches.
  • Place 1/2 cup of butter in a 13 x 9 pan.
  • Put the pan in the oven.
  • While butter melts, mix 2 cups of flour, sugar and milk in a bowl.  Add the salt and baking powder.
  • Take the pan out of the oven and pour the batter over the melted butter.  Use a spatula to mix butter and batter together.
  • Place all the peaches evenly over the batter.
  • Sprinkle 3/4 cup of sugar over the peaches.
  • Bake for 1 hour.  Serve with ice cream.  YUM!
