Is it possible to have too many cheese balls, I think not? I had so much fun researching and creating new recipes for the above six Cheese Balls. I have a another cheese ball I make all the time and it is a family favorite. Find it here, dinasdiner.com/cheese-ball/.
These Six Cheese Balls for the Holidays will be a huge hit at your next party or family gathering. They are so delicious on their own, but I have found many people are drawn to different cheese balls. The Roasted Garlic Pomegranate Cheese Ball has a smooth flavor with a pop of a pomegranate in each bite with a hint of rosemary. The Jalapeño Popper Cheese Ball is for your spicy lovers. The fresh jalapeño definitely packs a punch. The longer the jalapeño sits in the cheese ball, aka, the earlier you make it, the hotter the cheese ball gets.
Cheese Balls are always a holiday hit as an appetizer!
The Cranberry Orange Cheese Ball is an absolute delight. It is so holiday friendly with its holiday flavors. Cranberries are my jam, so anything with them is a huge hit. I love the marriage of orange and cranberry and this cheese ball speaks to me with the dried cranberries, cheddar cheese and pecan crust on the outside. The Bacon Ranch Pumpkin Shaped Cheese Ball is a fan favorite for sure. It appeals to everyone!
Have you ever eaten dessert Cheese Balls? The two recipes I have included in this post are so amazing! I have multiple children who love eating cookie cough and that is exactly what these taste like. One is a pure chocolate experience and the other is a peanut butter, oatmeal and chocolate chip mixture with a crown of mini M&Ms. Both start with cream cheese and butter as the base. No other cheese is involved.
I hope you have fun making any of these! Please let me know if you make one!

- Pour a tablespoon of olive oil on the bulb and then liberally salt and pepper.
- Bring the sides of the aluminum foil up and completely engulf the bulb of garlic and twist at the top.

How to Release the Arils from a Pomegranate
- Cut the top and bottom of a pomegranate off.
- Make slits from top to bottom on four sides of the pomegrante.
- Place the pomegranate in a large bowl filled with water.
- Place the pomegranate in the bowl of water and pull the four sections of the pomegrante apart.
- While your hands are still in the water, release the arils from the white skins inside the pomegranate.
- Throw away the skin and white membranes that float on top.
- Once all the arils are separated and have sunk to the bottom. Drain all the water out of the bowl.
- This method keeps the arils from popping and getting all over your clothes and table or counter.

- Using the pomegranate arils, push them into the cheese ball with seed side inside until the ball is covered. (This is the most time consuming part of the cheese ball. It took one person an hour to cover. With two people, it takes half an hour.)
- Using a toothpick broken in half, push one side into a Rolo candy. Stick the other side into the cheese ball to form the ornament.
